Virginia Amateur Sports and Virginia Commonwealth Games.
As the games are growing there is more and more need for quality AT’s to cover these events. In July of 2018 we will be hosting 40 events in one weekend. In August 2019 we are hosting the State Games of America.
Pay is $25 an hour or $150 a day plus all meals are provided. If an AT comes from somewhere else in the state besides Central Virginia we are prepared to offer free housing in our suites on campus.
The dates in which the events occur are:
July 27-29, 2018
August 2-4, 2019

The VATA Secondary School Athletic Trainers' Committee worked really hard this year to provide more support for the secondary school ATs. In June the committee hosted the first annual CEU workshop geared towards issues facing secondary school ATs in the Commonwealth. Now the committee has created a grant program to encourage more ATs to pursue a Safe Sport School Award for their school.
Details are located on the Secondary School AT Committee website, The VATA wants to support YOU!
